Barbara Huelat Addresses Asian Delegation of Taiwanese Physicians at Potomac Hospital

Barbara Huelat presents to the Asian Delegation of top Taiwanese physicians, clinicians and healthcare administrators from Kaohsiung Medical University, Taiwan in March 2009.  This has been an annual engagement since the year 2000. The lecture, hosted by Potomac Hospital in Woodbridge, VA, presents the Top Ten Trends of Healthcare Design.  Following the presentation, is a tour of Potomac Hospital’s newest renovations, led by Barbara Huelat.

Barbara continues to foster the healing environment ideal in the discussion of healing components, such as place, change, comfort, knowledge and experience; components that make a difference in health outcomes.  She encourages individuals in and out of the industry to look differently at humanity’s ability to heal naturally, and to integrate available evidence when developing new design trends and standards.
